It could’t have been better! With more than 800 competitors and 1000 spectators, the Orange County Open happened Saturday, December 2nd at the Hope International University and topped off the NABJJF 2017 season.
The best BJJ teams from across the state were present at the competition, fighting bravely for their medals and producing incredible battles on the six mats assembled in the arena. Throughout the day, families, friends and coaches filled the venue with a positive environment, excited about every battle and supporting their athletes. The NABJJF couldn’t be more pround of the last competition of the year!

The mission of the SJJIF is to unify and organize existing Sport Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Jiu-Jitsu national and/or territorial federations that share the vision of reaching Olympic greatness while preserving the unique history, culture, philosophy, and lineage of our sport.
The SJJIF believes that together, the SJJIF with its National Federations and members, will continue to develop the growing network of likeminded members who envision greater opportunities for our athletes and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as we believe that our athletes deserve an equal right to Olympic greatness!
Together, we will prove that we are a stand-alone sport and gain recognition and admittance into the Olympic program as a competition event of the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, Deaflympics and in all other games of the Olympic cycle.
